About the role
- This requires expertise in the educational landscape of your territory, including state specific curriculum needs and initiatives, district nuances, and funding trends.
- Consultative Selling: Uncover deep district pain points-such as learning loss, budgetary constraints, or curriculum gaps-and present tailored, ROI-driven solutions.
- Funding Fluency: Leverage a deep understanding of education funding mechanisms (e.g., Title I, IDEA, ESSER legacy funds, and state-level grants) to strategically position solutions.
Responsibilities
- Confidently manage multi-stakeholder committees, RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, board approval cycles, and strict data privacy compliance standards.
Requirements
- Occasional travel to conferences and BrainPOP's NYC HQ may also be required.
Nice to have
- Energetic and independent with a strong work ethic
- Able to negotiate deals that meet both parties' objectives
- Organized and able to prioritize and plan tasks
- Disciplined about CRM pipeline management and data integrity
- Able to travel in your assigned territory/region (50-70%)
- 5+ years of quota-carrying, solution-based sales experience targeting K-12 school districts
- Experience selling to K12 school districts in Florida is required
- Experience in supplemental curriculum strongly preferred
Skills
- An articulate communicator with strong writing skills to audiences of all levels
