About the role

  • The Packer is responsible for packing and labeling produce according to client specifications while maintaining a clean, sanitary work area.
  • The Order Builder picks and palletizes customer orders in a refrigerated warehouse environment (average 34 degrees).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean work area and comply with all safety and food safety procedures
  • Document packing activities and report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Build and stage customer orders on pallets using WMS system guidance, maintaining a minimum of 150 boxes per hour
  • Perform quality control checks on all orders for accuracy, completeness, and product condition before staging
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to all warehouse safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets and deadlines

Requirements

  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Hand and finger movement is required frequently to pack produce and distinguish produce types

Compensation

  • Starting wages at $18.50 per hour
  • Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
