Hands-On Maintenance & Quality Control: Oversee and perform advanced, hands-on maintenance and repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, ensuring all work meets Westland's high standards.
Operations Management: Manage the property's work order system from start to finish. You will coordinate and inspect the work of outside vendors and oversee the "make-ready" process to ensure timely turnover of vacant units.
Budget & Inventory Control: Assist the Community Manager with budget management for maintenance operations. You will control inventory and order necessary supplies and parts to maintain efficiency and stay within budget.
You will manage daily schedules, assign work orders, conduct performance reviews, and foster a professional, team-oriented environment.

Required for All Applicants:
English Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and vendors, and to interpret technical manuals and safety instructions.
2-3+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a residential property setting.
Advanced hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
HVAC Certification (required for positions in NV, TX, and San Bernardino County, CA).
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies.
The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

EPA Universal Certification.
A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
General computer skills for managing work orders and reporting.
