Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with mouse experiments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of animal protocols and experimental data.
- The Department of Surgery is seeking a Research Technician II to support laboratory research activities on an immuno-oncology project with a strong emphasis on animal (mouse) studies.
Nice to have
- Degree in Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Animal Science.
- Previous experience with laboratory animal handling strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with basic molecular and cellular biology techniques.
- Experience with mouse models and in vivo studies.
- Experience with flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
- $47,048.00 Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
