About the role
- We are looking for exceptional students to join us as quantitative developer interns for Winter 2027 (January to April).
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance reliable, low-latency Java components such as messaging handlers and market data parsers within our equities trading platform
- Design and implement new features to support trade execution workflows and help translate research signals into production trading logic
- Optimize high-throughput data ETL pipelines, persistent and in-memory caches, and SQL databases to support real-time market data processing
- Strong programming experience in Java with production-level coding quality and object-oriented design skills
- Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team
Requirements
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker
- Experience working in Unix environments and proficiency with shell scripting
- Knowledge of version control using Git and experience with continuous integration and delivery tools and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
