About the role

  • Associate Space Vehicle Controller - Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Space Vehicle Controller - Analyst (Level 2) to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
  • This person will be responsible for command and control of space vehicles (SV), telemetry monitoring, and execution and verification of products loaded to the SV.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring integrity of the ground system and command path in support of the mission
  • Will use MS-Windows or UNIX based computers for the development of the operational plan and analysis of data collected in support of planning future contacts or anomaly resolution
  • May support future system testing and integration requirements

Requirements

  • Required to analyze technical data, verify and sustain specific systems configuration in accordance with defined constraints and operational requirements
  • Selected candidate will be provided specialized training to learn the necessary skills related to ground and SV configuration management allowing them to obtain the necessary certifications required for this position

Nice to have

  • Experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc.)
  • Experience working with space vehicles
  • Willing to work rotating shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays

Compensation

  • $75,650 - $102,350
