About the role
- The role will involve assisting with equity coverage of some of the largest publicly listed Tech companies.
- Key duties of the role involve: public market data analysis, financial modelling, relative and fundamental equity valuation, and working closely with other teams within GIR globally to produce timely and insightful equity and thematic research reports.
- Have a strong foundation in accounting, financial modelling and valuation

- Maintain sufficient and effective processes and controls identifying and mitigating risks and ensure timely escalation and resolution of all control issues and reputation risks

- In addition to partnering with the CIB clients, Global Research also collaborates with the rest of the Group businesses, such as IWPB.

Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant sell-side or buy-side research experience, ideally covering the tech sector
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.
Nice to have
- Master regional language is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred
