About the role

Our client, a thriving global publicly traded technology leader, is looking for its first AI Innovation Specialist to join the corporate Law Department.
Reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel, the AI Innovation Specialist will serve as a dedicated specialist, responsible for the adoption of AI tools to power legal work and serving as a solution builder and strategic advisor.
The base salary for this role is targeted at $200,000 to $240,000 depending on the seniority and quality of the successful candidate's directly relevant experience.

Lead the design and implementation of automation and AI solutions for legal processes, helping teams streamline workflows and adopt new AI-powered solutions.
Work with external vendors to assess, select, and implement third-party AI and automation solutions that meet the requirements of the legal teams and their internal clients.
Collaborate with legal teams to enable AI tools for case management support, risk analysis, summarization, drafting, document review, and reporting, among other use cases.
Troubleshoot technical issues across legal platforms and coordinate resolution with IT and vendor support teams.
Collaborate with legal, cross-functional, and IT teams to align automation and AI projects with broader business objectives and legal priorities.
Coordinate across key internal stakeholders, including IT, Finance, Internal Audit, and Business Units, as well as legal leadership, to drive measurable impact.
Support change management initiatives to ensure the smooth adoption of new tools and processes across the legal department.
Create and execute communication plans and user training to inform and support stakeholders of new technology implementations, enhancements, and process changes.
