About the role

  • This role also includes performing related actions with Suppliers for NAPA's product assortment to ensure compliance to the regulations and legislations that apply.

Responsibilities

  • There is an expectation to be proficient in the existing regulation apps and manage troubleshooting where needed as well as facilitate any associated bulletins / disposition activities that need to be executed by operations and category.
  • Responsible for KPI reporting on compliance and to support ensuring liability risks are minimal.
  • Ability to use critical thinking to develop efficient action plans and to anticipate project risks that will be needed to be mitigated.
  • Ability to work across all internal departments to drive projects to on-time completion.
  • Highly motivated individual that has a strong drive for results; communicates effectively both in written and verbal communication formats.

  • Responsible for ensuring that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practices related to regulatory compliance and supplier diversity.

Requirements

  • Deliver required outreach activities to educate and inform key stakeholders of regulatory and contract compliance requirements and impact to them.
  • Develops procedures and reporting to generate supplier lists, surveys as required by compliance calendar or the business.
  • This includes interfacing with any regulatory body or customer where required.
  • Manage outreach efforts to educate and inform to key stakeholders as required.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5-7+ years professional experience in regulatory compliance, supplier diversity related role, engineering, or closely related fields
  • 5+ years automotive experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to be a reporting and application SME by independently navigating business data analytics reporting including PowerBI, regulation apps and any other supplier diverse spend apps
  • Ability to distill complex data into concise executive reports.
  • Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • communicates effectively both in written and verbal communication formats.
