About the role

In this role, you will program and operate OMAX waterjet equipment to cut and produce high-quality parts that meet precise production specifications.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, as you will follow work instructions and safely handle a variety of materials, including large metal plates and small components.

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.

About the role Aalo Atomics is seeking a skilled Waterjet Technician to join our team in building the future of advanced nuclear reactors.
You will support ongoing operations by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt in a technical environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Persons in compliance with 10 CFR Part 810 and may not hold non-compliant foreign citizenships.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on precision, safety, and continuous improvement.

Experience with OMAX Make software, including programming and operation.
Hands-on experience rebuilding and maintaining waterjet pump systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.
Technical proficiency in equipment maintenance and use of hand tools
forklift operation experience preferred.
