About the role
- The successful candidate will be tasked with oversight and management responsibility over certain legal and compliance related tasks, the complexity of which will vary based upon the qualifications of the individual selected.
- The Compliance Specialist duties and responsibilities will include the following.
- Proactively engage with internal departments to understand operational needs and assess potential export control and trade compliance impacts.
Responsibilities
- The Compliance Specialist role is a support role for the North American Legal and Compliance team within deugro.
- Develop, document, and clearly communicate export regulatory guidance to relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Design, develop, and conduct quarterly export compliance and trade compliance training sessions.
- Facilitate and manage communications with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and trade organizations as necessary.
- Provide support to the Global Trade Controls Team as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Assist with the CTPAT program as required, in coordination with relevant departments.
- Updating IACMS on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required
