About the role
- This role combines frontline operational leadership with technical oversight to ensure high system uptime, task accuracy, latency management, and safe execution of robot-assisted workflows.
- The ideal candidate has experience leading technical operations teams in high-availability environments and is comfortable working at the intersection of robotics, live systems monitoring, and human-in-the-loop control.
Responsibilities
- Act as escalation lead for hardware, software, connectivity, or control-system issues.
- Maintain detailed operational logs and audit-ready documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve teleoperation interfaces, alerting systems, and workflow efficiency.
- Support integration of new robotic platforms, firmware updates, and teleoperation software releases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical operations, robotics, teleoperation, or real-time systems management.
- Experience working with:
- Strong understanding of real-time system constraints (latency, bandwidth, reliability).
