Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of HVAC and mechanical systems for building projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.
- Prepare construction drawings and coordinate designs using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and assisting with field questions.
- Help prepare technical reports, Basis of Design narratives, and project documentation.
- Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, this role takes on increasing responsibility for design, coordination, and project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Two to five years of experience in HVAC design for buildings.
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculation software.
- Basic understanding of ASHRAE standards and applicable building codes.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Compensation Range:
- $83,978.91 - $95,975.90
