About the role

  • As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, and supporting the Account Executive in delivering comprehensive risk solutions.
  • You'll be the go-to resource for day-to-day servicing, underwriting coordination, and identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage through cross-sell strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate without ego.

  • Day-to-Day Servicing Manage daily client communications, including policy inquiries, billing questions, and service requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records and document all service activities in the agency management system.
  • Support commercial risk advisors and account executives with proposals, summaries, and client deliverables.
  • Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy adjustments to align with client needs.
  • Leverage client feedback and market insights to drive innovation in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive to develop and present cross-sell strategies.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent is desired.
  • Must be organized with demonstrated skills for effective communication both verbal and written with the ability to influence others.
  • Should have experience in commercial lines underwriting and marketing with a multi-line insurance agency or brokerage operation.
