Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to align compensation programs with business priorities, operational goals, values, and culture.
- Lead the ongoing evaluation, enhancement, and administration of executive compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, compensation practices, and economic conditions to develop recommendations that support talent and business objectives.
- Partner closely with Compensation Operations to ensure efficient program delivery, administration, and governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across People, Finance, Legal, and business leadership to solve complex compensation challenges and drive successful program implementation.
- Lead executive compensation analyses and support the preparation of materials for Compensation Committee, Board, and executive leadership reviews.
- Deep expertise across compensation strategy, market benchmarking, incentive design, executive compensation, governance, and program administration.
Requirements
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including expert-level proficiency in Excel and experience building complex compensation models, scenario analyses, and large-scale workforce analyses.
- Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate philosophy into scalable operational solutions.

Compensation
- Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
- USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $220,000 - $280,000
- USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $195,000 - $255,000
- Lead the strategy, design, governance, and execution of Affirm's executive compensation programs, including base salary structures, annual incentives, and equity programs.
