About the role
- Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $80,000-$100,000 CAD
- Job Purpose:
- Provide production support of EDI processes for TD SYNNEX Americas trading partners (customers, vendors, carriers, etc) including trouble shooting and communication with trading partners IT, internal biz user and IT colleagues. Analyze, design, and develop EDI maps and processes in conjunction with homegrown ERP applications and database. Technical project management of new EDI trading partners or enhancement of existing partners. Collaborate with Project Manager, Business System Engineer, and/or key users to prototype, refine, test and debug processes to meet business/customer needs. Relationship management and detailing of existing trading partners to strengthen relationship and maximize mutual value for TD SYNNEX and trading partner.
Responsibilities
- Analysis, design and solutioning of EDI - understand the overall integration architecture and design EDI projects/interfaces for customer, vendor, carrier transactions based on requirements
- EDI Mapping and Production Support - assist in second level/escalation map enhancements/fixes, production issues in EDI translation and data content
- Develop comprehensive technical solution designs, encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical aspects.
- Utilize expertise in software development (Java, SQL, Python), database design, and software architecture (REST, event-driven, distributed systems), across associated areas.
- Lead communication with business and IT partners to identify system improvements and translate requirements into development tasks.
- Lead the development and implementation of complex software components and high-impact features across associated domains, ensuring code quality and system scalability.
Requirements
- On-call availability required as necessary.
Nice to have
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus, particularly for collaboration with Asia‑based teams and partners.
- EDI mapping skills.
- A plus if familiar with IBM Sterling Commerce SI and Axway AS2
Skills
- Knowledge and experience of API‑based integrations, microservices, cloud‑native architectures, and event‑driven systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related major required.
- Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.

- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to effectively multi-task.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and generating reports
