About the role
- Position Description The City of Fresno Public Works Department has multiple temporary seasonal opportunities in our Landscape Maintenance Division.
- Individuals receive first-hand experience maintaining landscapes on trails and median islands, and in parks and a wide variety of other City landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Support the relationship between the City of Fresno and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with citizens, visitors, and City staff.
Requirements
- The Requirements Selected individuals will be required to successfully pass a Department interview, a Department of Justice fingerprint and depending on assignment may be required provide proof of Tuberculosis (TB) clearance, prior to employment with the City of Fresno.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required at the time of appointment.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Skills
- Working a 4 day per week, 10 hour per day work schedule, with weekends off.
Compensation
- Range 17.85 per hour
- Annual Salary Range 17.85 per hour
