About the role

Join our team as a Quality Inspector and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
As a Quality Inspector, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our products, processes, and customer satisfaction while working alongside a team committed to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Perform first article inspections, receiving inspections, in-process audits, and final inspections as directed.
Support manufacturing operations by identifying quality concerns and communicating findings to production, engineering, and quality teams.
Create and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and related quality documentation.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and process capability studies.
Provide support for special inspection or validation activities as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to inspect precision-manufactured components, identify improvement opportunities, and help maintain the quality our customers expect.

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Participate in corrective action investigations and follow-up activities as required.

ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or similar quality certifications preferred.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
Working Environment
Frequent standing and walking throughout the manufacturing facility.
Regular exposure to standard manufacturing conditions, including heat, noise, machinery, and industrial odors.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
May periodically work in the Metallurgical Laboratory environment, which includes exposure to acids, bases, and other chemicals used in sample preparation.
Ability to safely operate within a manufacturing environment while following all safety requirements and procedures.
