About the role
- Join our dynamic team at Harco Fittings here in Bellingham, Washington, a leading industrial services provider committed to PVC fabrication, safety and sustainability.
- We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to add to our team.
- This position includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems within our manufacturing facility, with some small amounts of fabrication and welding.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of repairs and services
- Collaborate with maintenance Supervisor and production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to maintain production up times
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing low voltage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- High school diploma or GED is required; and/or technical certifications in HVAC, hydraulics, electrical, millwrighting are all acceptable
- Familiarity with PLC programming, motor controls, and variable frequency drives is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
