About the role
- This role plays a key part in executing export shipments across ocean and air, managing the full lifecycle from quotation through delivery.
- You will work closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and on time.
- This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Book shipments with carriers and airlines and manage transportation to receiving terminals
- Manage both outgoing and incoming freight, with a primary emphasis on outbound
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or export coordination (ocean and/or air)
- Working knowledge of export documentation and processes (e.g., CERS, shipping instructions, AWB)
- Experience handling FCL/LCL and/or air export shipments
- Experience negotiating rates with carriers and/or airlines
- Familiarity with origin-side operations (quotations, bookings, inland cartage/drayage)
- Prepare proforma invoices and support required export paperwork
