Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed reviews and testing of construction financial records and project documentation to ensure compliance with contract terms and industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather information and ensure a comprehensive audit process.

Requirements

  • 1 year professional experience

  • Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
  • a background in accounting/finance, internal audit, construction management, project management, or a related field is helpful but not required.
  • Intensely curious, solution-oriented individual who wants to know what, where, when, how, and (most importantly) why processes work the way they do.
  • Ability to communicate extremely well in verbal and written form.
  • This applies to interacting with other team members, stakeholders, and Internal Audit teams.
  • Well versed in MS Excel and WORD for analysis, reporting, and data management.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • CPA, CA, CIA, CCA, CCP, PMP, CFE, or other relevant certifications, or desire to obtain.
