About the role
- Summary of Role: GlobalFoundries Fab 9 (Essex Jct., VT) is seeking a Maintenance Shift Manager (MSM).
- This is a 12-hour night position on the N2 shift (Wednesday - Friday, every other Saturday).
- Daily standard work with team members through shift rounds, provide preventative maintenance management and continuous improvement and in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Daily management of technical resources to maintain equipment used in a semiconductor manufacturing line.
- Drive overall equipment stability to meet critical KPI's (net MT, stability, M-ratio).
- Organize and drive training to address skills deficiencies on the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and management on understanding and implementing best practices.
- This manager will manage & lead the CMP, CVD Novellus and CVD AME Module Maintenance Technicians along with Process Technicians.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical / STEM field Experience.
- 6+ years of experience in semiconductor fabricator.
- Skills - Technical skills/background within the semiconductor fabricator or similar fabricator for minimum ten years.
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter
- the ability to navigate ambiguity.
