About the role
- Job Description: The Staff Accountant for Wholesale Inventory is responsible for providing accounting for Metroplex Energy.
- The role is accountable for timely and accurate reconciliation and valuation of inventory.
- With four operating divisions RaceTrac, RaceWay, Energy Dispatch, and Gulf - there's always a new challenge to take on and a new path to pursue.
Responsibilities
- Assists in developing solutions to financial and operational processes for inventory functions, policies, and procedures
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external counterparties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with a concentration in finance, accounting or related field of study
- 1-3 years accounting experience
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP
Nice to have
- Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel nice to have Power BI and/or ERP knowledge
