About the role

  • This is a growth role built on travel, community and hands-on execution.
  • You'll spend 3 to 5 days every 2 to 3 weeks in a new US city, representing LemFi at Nigerian community events, signing up new users, arranging sponsorships and networking with Nigerian communities across the country.
  • You're embedded in the communities we serve, acting as both a strategic thinker and a ground-level operator.

Responsibilities

  • LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.
  • That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.
  • You'll drive LemFi's expansion across Nigerian communities in the United States.
  • You'll own growth outcomes for your assigned markets, working closely with Growth, Marketing, Product and Operations while serving as the internal voice of the user.
  • Attend community events, drive brand awareness and new customer sign-ups.
  • Build and expand LemFi's community network, network with local leaders and organizations, and arrange sponsorship for community events.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to Nigerian ex-pat communities in the US. Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights to improve acquisition KPIs.
  • Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness and advocacy for LemFi.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners.
  • Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses to accelerate user growth. Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing or similar.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets.
  • Background in fintech, payments or diaspora-focused products.
  • Established network within Nigerian diaspora communities.
