Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks related to running a Windows Server environment smoothly
- Support and assist technical and non-technical internal users
- Be able to record changes and build handover documents
- Serves as escalation point for complex helpdesk support issues
- Perform monitoring and preventative maintenance on servers
- Help other team members with any issues they may encounter to maintain overall team effectiveness.
- Actively seeks to promote a healthy team environment to maintain and increase overall team morale and individual team members' job satisfaction.
Requirements
- As a successful Windows Systems Administrator, you will be expected to have in depth knowledge of Windows Server Setup, deployment and maintenance, coding skills in PowerShell and the ability to solve complex IT issues.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience with Windows 2016/2019, AD (Active Directory), System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Operations Manager (optional)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to stay focused to ensure that tickets are completed accurately and on time
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Office 365/Intune experience
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Good Grasp of network design and security
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Elevated level of I nformation S ecurity awareness
Nice to have
- Candidates with MCSE, MCSA and or other Azure related Microsoft Certifications will be preferred
