About the role

  • Meet the team: The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft.
  • On the shop floor you'll be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure and quality.
  • Your working environment: Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Join our team and help build the next generation of aircraft.
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications as needed to perform duties.
  • able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings on a daily basis.
  • able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms as needed to perform duties.
  • able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications as needed to perform duties.

Requirements

  • Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
  • High degree of flexibility and initiative Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in process performance engineering.
  • Knowledge of basic project management concepts.
  • Knowledge of Airbus Planning Tools (AVL2, EPIQA).
  • Understanding of the overall workflow across the Final Assembly Line Capable of hosting and facilitating workshops/kaizens Have the ability to work in an international team.
  • Must be able to present clear and concise briefings and reports to customers and executives Expert in Airbus Visual Line 2 Knowledge in

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Airbus experience or relevant industry experience.
