About the role
- Meet the team: The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft.
- On the shop floor you'll be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure and quality.
- Your working environment: Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Join our team and help build the next generation of aircraft.
- Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications as needed to perform duties.
- able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings on a daily basis.
- able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms as needed to perform duties.
- able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications as needed to perform duties.
Requirements
- Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
- High degree of flexibility and initiative Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in process performance engineering.
- Knowledge of basic project management concepts.
- Knowledge of Airbus Planning Tools (AVL2, EPIQA).
- Understanding of the overall workflow across the Final Assembly Line Capable of hosting and facilitating workshops/kaizens Have the ability to work in an international team.
- Must be able to present clear and concise briefings and reports to customers and executives Expert in Airbus Visual Line 2 Knowledge in
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Airbus experience or relevant industry experience.
