About the role
- Inspect and repair equipment and infrastructure related to aquatic systems, such as pumps, valves, heaters, and circulation systems, to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Completion and maintaining work orders up to date
- Proficient with identifying aquatic plant and algae species common to the region/district
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain appropriate water chemistry levels, including pH, chlorine, and alkalinity, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for aquatic life and human patrons.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of aquatic facilities, including water quality testing, filtration system maintenance, and debris removal.
Requirements
- Receive all required certifications/licenses within the time specified
- Knowledge of aquatic biology, ecology, and water chemistry principles, with a focus on maintaining optimal environmental conditions for aquatic life.
- Familiarity with aquatic equipment, including filtration systems, pumps, UV sterilizers, and water quality testing instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and water quality issues effectively.
Nice to have
- Degree in related science preferred
- 0-1 years' experience preferred in an environmental related field
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding preferred.
