Build every facet of a feature, from UI/UX design and implementation to backend database access.
Build improvements to performance, reliability, and existing product polish.
Build and improve processes and internal tools to monitor, maintain, and enhance a secure, reliable, and globally-available platform.
As a Senior Engineer at Summus, you will help drive the expansion of a transformational way to access expertise in specialty medicine globally.
Build new product features from start to finish: through conception and collaboration with our entire team, implementation and testing, polish, and maintenance.

Job Summary As a Senior Engineer at Summus, you will help drive the expansion of a transformational way to access expertise in specialty medicine globally.

4-6 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or similar role.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, IAM.
Familiarity with relational database concepts.

This position is based in New York City and offers a hybrid work schedule for candidates located in the NYC and Tri-State area.
Help clients and mentor teammates, solving challenges by sharing your product and technical expertise.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of development best practices including integration tests, code reviews, documentation, version control (git).
Experience with our tech stack: Typescript, NodeJS, MySQL, React.

Salary range is $150,000-$185,000 plus bonus depending on experience.
