About the role
- The historic facility, formerly known as Dodgertown, served as the Spring Training home of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers for 60 years.
- Dodgertown opened in 1948 as the first racially integrated MLB Spring Training site in the South.
- On April 2, 2019, MLB renamed the facility the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in honor of its trailblazing namesake.
Responsibilities
- Follow prep lists and directions from Chef Manager or kitchen leads
- Perform initial cooking steps (e.g., parboiling, reducing sauces) under direction
- Maintain consistency in portioning, recipe adherence, and presentation
- Operational Support
- Help with line setup, service support, and restocking during meal periods
- Provide backup support for dishwashing, dining room service, and event operations when needed
- Maintain communication with cooks and Chef Manager to ensure workflow runs smoothly
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
Nice to have
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
