  • ConeTec is seeking an analytical, curious, and technology-driven Junior FP&A & Data Analyst to join our growing Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Support cash flow forecasting, profitability analysis, and working capital reviews.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and performance reporting tools.
  • Support the development of automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Explore and implement practical uses of Artificial Intelligence within Finance and FP&A processes.
  • Assist in developing automated analysis, reporting, forecasting, and financial insight generation.
  • Reporting, Insights & Decision Support
  • Support executive presentations and business review materials.
  • Deliver concise analyses and recommendations to support management decision-making.
  • Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to understand business challenges and support strategic initiatives.
  • You understand that finance exists to support decision-making and create value for the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in F inance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
  • Experience Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, business analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms is beneficial.
  • Working toward a CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, business analysis, or performance management is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, or data-driven decision-making is highly desirable.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with financial data and reporting is preferred.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Understanding of financial statements and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is an asset.
  • Preferred Experience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) is an asset.
