About the role

Role Summary: The Production Supervisor at the NA Pump QRCs is responsible for the day-to-day activities on the shop floor and direct management of the skilled labor team.
This role will work closely with the QRC Manager and the Master Scheduler to ensure that the right resources are in place to be able to meet production goals with a focus on quality and on-time performance.
In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining a work schedule for all associates on the team to ensure resources are available to meet customer needs.

Effectively lead and manage people resources as measured by safety performance, turnover, and employee development sponsorship
Manage shop resources to meet labor hour budget
Drive CIP culture throughout organization and meet cycle time reduction goals
Work with Master Scheduler to manage order risks
Manage and improve COPQ, OTD, rework and scrap metrics
Manage outsourced deliverables are on schedule, job packages are properly assembled, and scopes are clearly communicated
Participate and implement programs/procedures to improve processes, lead-time, production yields and delivery performance.
Manage the customer experience by occasionally acting as a point of contact for orders. Provide customer updates as requested
Attend and actively participate in order hand off meetings (Pass Gate 1), and effectively manage the Pass Gate Process throughout the order lifecycle
The Production Supervisor will work closely with individual associates, and team leads to develop training plans to aid in the growth and development of the operations team.

5+ years in an industrial manufacturing or repair operation
Experience scheduling/planning multiple jobs simultaneously
Experience managing / directing all shop activities for a repair manufacturing facility
CIP training and experience required
Strong working knowledge of pumps & rotating equipment required.
Experience with MS Project tools including: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level.
Capacity to effectively share information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers at multiple levels of the organization
High School Diploma with some college preferred

Experience operating in an ERP system
Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and make decisions on the spot
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to interpersonal, teamwork skills
Demonstrate a desire for personal growth and career development
