Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $90K-$120K (depending on experience) Work Location: Onsite.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operation of enterprise infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.

Netsimco, a Saalex Company is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator in Keyport, WA to support and maintain enterprise Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments within a secure, mission-critical environment.
Essential Functions: Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities.
Create, modify, and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational policies.
Implement and maintain system security controls in compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Support backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical guides.
Support STIG compliance efforts and system accreditation activities.
Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel, network engineers, and end users to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Participate in after-hours maintenance activities as required.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
CompTIA Security+ certification required, or other designation as an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II or higher in accordance with DoD 8570 or current DoD Cyber Workforce requirements (CISSP, CASP+, CySA+, etc.) Current certification(s) meeting applicable DoD Cyber Workforce requirements.
Experience with: VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies Active Directory administration Group Policy management PowerShell and/or Bash scripting Enterprise backup and recovery solutions Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Experience with vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity compliance efforts within DoD environments.
