About the role
- You will be expected to execute complex demolition engineering projects, including up to 30% travel within the United States to demolition sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage forensic investigation projects.
- Oversee and review structural analysis and repair design of concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and other structural systems.
- Organize site visits to support forensic investigations and review site visit findings.
- Prepare and review technical and investigative reports to support forensic findings and prepare materials related to presentations.
- Manage and mentor junior-level team members.
- Actively supports business development efforts through proposal writing, client outreach, and relationship building.

Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 8+ years of structural engineering experience with demonstrated technical depth.
Nice to have
- Degree (Master's preferred) in structural engineering or a related field.
- Field experience with various types of structures is a plus.
Compensation
- The rate for this position generally is $130,000 - $150,000 annually.
- This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law.
- Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
- Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law.
- Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
- A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
