About the role
- Reporting to the ACNO of Imaging and Diagnostic Services, the incumbent will plan, direct, organize, control, and evaluate the operations of the Short Stay Unit.
- The role also involves assisting with budgets, human resources, hospital billing, customer relations, and the Unit's financial performance measures.
- The incumbent will be particularly accountable for the ongoing evaluation of financial performance measures, assessing the department's compliance with various regulatory agencies, and achieving the goals and objectives of the areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Duties Responsibilities Develops a therapeutic relationship with patients, family members, visitors, and colleagues to provide care coordination utilizing evidence-based practice.
- Assures organizational policies, procedures and practices are current and evidence-based relative to protocols and develops and modifies as necessary.
- Plans and develops patient safety innovations and practice improvement.
- Hires, trains, develops, and manages staff to ensure that qualified staff exists to meet group objectives.
