Responsibilities

  • This position performs camera monitoring, emergency services, identification badging tasks, operational functions, data searches, and research to locate identified subjects through gathering, compiling, and analyzing relevant information.

Requirements

  • Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
  • Ability to move up to 20 pounds from the floor to the waist and push/pull up to 20 pounds up to 100 feet.
  • Must be able to obtain Criminal Justice Information System Network Terminal Operator Certification (TOC) Level B, within thirty (30) days of hire

Compensation

  • Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
  • This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
  • $20.25 - $32.50 hourly

  • Two years of specialized experience in a legal or law enforcement environment directly related to the essential job tasks
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • We believe in integrity.

  • Other Requirements
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
  • NOTE: The Maricopa County Attorney's Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs.
  • We Also Value
  • Two or more years of security and/or law enforcement experience
  • Current or past AZ DPS Security Guard License and/or AZPOST certification
