About the role

  • This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and performing testing procedures associated with radio communication racks and supporting subassemblies.
  • Work is reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with instructions.
  • Work is performed in a production and fabrication environment supporting rack assembly and shipment operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform both mechanical hardware assembly and electronic assembly associated with rack builds
  • Perform drilling, soldering, and electrical assembly activities
  • Perform quality checks of assemblies to ensure proper function and compliance with specifications
  • Production Support
  • Support material handling, movement, and storage of rack systems and components
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment
