- Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Associate Engineer to Associate Engineer II Office Technical and Environmental Services (TES) Group at the BWI Marshall Airport Field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Electrical or other generally recognized field of engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Associate Engineer: 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Associate Engineer II: 4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Note: Master's degree in engineering or other relevant field may be substituted for two years of required experience
- Must be able to obtain both UST and AST Inspector certifications within 18 months of hire date.
- Must possess the ability to both effectively communicate with and interact with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, vendors and the public, both orally as well as in writing.
- Must have knowledge of engineering principles and practices and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Applicants must have the ability to obtain a Homeland Security Clearance and must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
- Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Compensation
- Associate Engineer: $66,861.04 - $91,933.74
- Associate Engineer II: $73,547.00 - $101,127.12
- Eleven paid holidays per year
