Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and technological developments in the K-9 and Law Enforcement field.
- Performs additional duties in support of law enforcement operations as directed by management.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
- P roven ability to remain customer focused and calm in stressful situations is required.
- Documented experience handling an explosive detection dog in an operational environment.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays or extended hours during emergency or crisis situations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.

Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree or 2 years of experience preferred.
- Two years prior law enforcement or 2 years of K-9 experience preferred.
- Prior civilian or military K9 handler experience preferred.
