About the role

  • You will help bridge the gap between raw data and business outcomes by delivering interpretable, actionable insights at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Please note, Solventum does not expect candidates in this position to perform work in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and develop AI-powered analytics solutions and intelligent tools that deliver actionable insights to business users.
  • Design and build dynamic dashboards and decision-support applications using Power BI and Power Platform
  • Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based approaches to enable more accurate, explainable, and scalable AI-driven outcomes

Requirements

  • Four (4) Years experience working with SQL, data analysis, AI/ML concepts and BI tools
  • One (1) year Hands-on experience with building effective AI agents and application of AI in business use cases.
  • One (1)Year of Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Fabric, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree and seven (7) years of experience in a data analytics role
  • High school/ GED and 11 years of experience in a data analytics role
  • In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

Nice to have

  • Power BI PL-300 Certification preferred
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) -based approaches to achieve scalable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or similar AI development platforms.
  • Evaluate and compare different AI models ( Claude/GPT ) to determine the best fit for specific use cases (e.g., reasoning tasks, summarization, automation, analytics).
  • Select and apply models based on trade-offs across accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
  • The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
