About the role

BBJ Group is a growing environmental consulting and engineering firm seeking a senior level environmental consultant for BBJ Group's Remediation Practice.
Primary responsibilities include serving clients with various environmental engineering and consulting needs and fostering new business opportunities while continuing client relationships.
This role offers numerous opportunities and responsibilities for a detail-oriented environmental professional.

Mentoring junior project managers and staff consultants to effectively lead projects from technical and project management perspectives;
Senior-level consultants will specialize in Remediation, EHS/Regulatory Compliance, or Real Estate Transaction Support Practices:
Remedial system design and implementation; and
We don't just study the problem, we cost-effectively develop an answer and an exit for our client.
As a result, our clients view us a true, collaborative partners, and not just another contractor.

Eight or more years of consulting experience conducting and directing advanced projects in given practice area
M.S. in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or equivalent preferred
Professional Certification (PE/PG/CHMM/CSP)
Detail-oriented and ability to work within a team setting and independently
Strong communication and technical writing, coupled with analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Flexibility to accommodate travel (25%) and a valid-driver's license
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
AutoCAD, ArcGIS experience a plus
OSHA HAZWOPER training
