About the role

  • Globality is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help grow our test infrastructure and tooling efforts across the entire Globality ecosystem.
  • As a SDET, you'll work in a key position where your efforts will have a noticeable impact on both the company and product.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and implement next-level testing infrastructure and tooling for our Globality platform
  • Develop working knowledge of the entire Globality application stack including tests at all levels and purposes. (Levels: Unit, Integration, and End-to-end
  • Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality
  • Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and supporting test automation frameworks and tooling
  • Develop working knowledge of the entire Globality application stack including tests at all levels and purposes. (Levels: Unit, Integration, and End-to-end; Purposes: Functional, Scale/Load, Performance)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software systems using production-grade engineering practices
  • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, efficient, and rapid software delivery
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams and communicate asynchronously

Nice to have

  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Pytest, Cucumber (BDD), and Cypress
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and Drone
  • Experience in integration and performance testing
  • Understanding of modern software quality, automation, and release engineering best practices

Compensation

  • The anticipated annual pay scale for this position is $90,000-$110,000.
