About the role

  • Region: Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming etc.)
  • Identify and proactively reach out to prospective customers to generate demand for LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products and services
  • Direct Sales: Work closely and in collaboration with Field Sales and Commercial Applications team members to achieve new sales results by utilizing a strategic sales process.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
  • Proven, effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to travel as needed (
  • Strong skills and expertise in using Microsoft Office and associated applications.
  • Excellent business and sales presentation skills using PowerPoint required.
  • Provides timely sales and pipeline inputs as required to support reporting of leading and lagging indicators.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
  • Demonstrated understanding and skill set in effective sales process including forecasting.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the life science industry, including bench/lab work in molecular biology or genetics
  • Proficiency with SalesForce.com or other CRM for pipeline and account management
