About the role
- Region: Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming etc.)
- Identify and proactively reach out to prospective customers to generate demand for LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products and services
- Direct Sales: Work closely and in collaboration with Field Sales and Commercial Applications team members to achieve new sales results by utilizing a strategic sales process.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
- Proven, effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to travel as needed (
- Strong skills and expertise in using Microsoft Office and associated applications.
- Excellent business and sales presentation skills using PowerPoint required.
- Provides timely sales and pipeline inputs as required to support reporting of leading and lagging indicators.

- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, client operations, and competitive offerings to effectively position LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products.

Nice to have
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding and skill set in effective sales process including forecasting.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the life science industry, including bench/lab work in molecular biology or genetics
- Proficiency with SalesForce.com or other CRM for pipeline and account management
