About the role
- Nanopath is seeking a Process Development Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist to join our Assay R&D team and help develop, optimize, and scale the workflows that support Nanopath's diagnostic platform.
- This role will be highly hands-on and will support process development across assay preparation, reagent development, and analytical testing.
Responsibilities
- Support development of robust, repeatable protocols for reagent manufacturing, array fabrication, and assay execution.

- Troubleshoot experimental workflows and collaborate with assay, engineering, product, and operations team members to identify root causes and implement improvements.

- Nanopath is developing a first-in-class in vitro diagnostics platform to transform how diseases are diagnosed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, molecular biology, chemistry, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with liquid handler automation, automated assay workflows, or programming / operating automated laboratory platforms.
- Experience with nucleic acid assays, biosensors, microarrays, or spotting / printing technologies
- Experience in cross-functional and highly collaborative work environments.
- Familiarity with design control, quality systems, GLP/GxP principles, or documentation practices for regulated diagnostics.
- Extremely well-organized, with a high level of efficiency, attention to detail, and motivation for completing tasks accurately and on time.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
