About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our endoscopy healthcare team and play a vital role in supporting gastrointestinal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support physicians during colonoscopies, EGDs, and other GI procedures.
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
Requirements
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality where required
Nice to have
- Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Diagnostic Endoscopy, Therapeutic Endoscopy, Infusion, and Advanced Therapeutics.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) required
- BLS certification is required
- Previous experience in endoscopy, procedural nursing, or gastroenterology preferred
- In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
- include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during endoscopic interventions, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring safe recovery post-procedure.
- The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience in procedural or perioperative settings.
