About the role

  • We are seeking a Site Assistant to join our Construction team in Calgary, Alberta.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands on, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • This is a strong entry point into residential construction with exposure to multiple phases of the build process and opportunities for long term growth.
  • Top 3 Priorities for Your First 6 Months Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites that support efficiency and reflect Akash standards.
  • Support quality control processes by assisting with inspections, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring completed work meets expectations.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Site Superintendents, trades, and project team members to help keep builds on schedule.
  • Support quality control efforts by preparing sites for inspections and performing general labour tasks.
  • Support and reinforce high standards with trade partners and subcontractors to help maintain timelines and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • What You'll Own Maintain clean and organized job sites, including waste removal, sweeping, vacuuming, and snow clearing when required.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • A clean Driver's Abstract is required.
