  • The APM organizes and executes assigned product launches activities including launch materials, communications and training, and identifies lessons learned from the product development and launch processes.
  • Escalates issues to the Portfolio Manager as appropriate. - Ensures 100% compliance with all applicable laws, AdvaMed guidelines and Acumed policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and proposes business and marketing plans, including product strategies and tactical execution of those strategies, for assigned products using approved templates and defined processes. Executes approved plans.
  • Using defined processes and approved templates, gathers and analyzes Voice of Customer (VOC) data for assigned products and recommends integration into product design.
  • Provides surgeons and sales partners general product knowledge on the full portfolio at global tradeshows, Bioskills courses, Surgical Skills labs, and product training events as a representative of Acumed.
  • The Associate Product Manager (APM) develops product strategies and business cases consistent with overall business objectives in close collaboration with the Portfolio Manager.
  • Collaborates with Marketing Communications, Sales, Regulatory, Product Development, and other departments to drive completion of project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study required.
  • Proven positive and professional demeanor.
  • ability to take ownership over processes.
  • Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study required. MBA desired.
  • 2 or more years of experience in Medical Device or related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interacting with customers and coworkers.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations to large groups of peers and customers.

  • Self-starter
  • Advanced computer skills working with Excel and PowerPoint, proficient in remaining MS Office Suite.
