About the role
- Project team member for projects medium to large in scope and high complexity.
- Responsible for the integration of vendor data feeds.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, developing, testing and implementing IT system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals
- Responsible for Analyzing business requirements, propose, design and implement technical solutions.
- Supports one or more moderately to highly complex business processes/systems for multiple business units.
- Responsible for analysis, design of data architecture and ETL data flows in support of enterprise HEDIS data management, analytics and reporting.
- Responsible for collaborating proactively with functional analysts to translate business and application requirements into configurable component designs and solutions.
- Responsible for design, programming and unit testing of application software across production support, enhancements and projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Access, etc.)
- Experience writing complex queries, using advanced PLSQL concepts and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate insights
- 5+ years of complex SQL script writing experience
- 3+ years of experience with HEDIS and CMS Stars Rating System & Specifications
- 5 + years of experience with data profiling & analyzing large datasets
- Experience working with large data sets and data visualization tools.
Skills
- 3+ years working with analytical software such as SAS or Tableau
- Experience working with Medical Code sets - CPT, HCPCS, ICD10
- Education/Certifications -
- Master's degree preferred.
