About the role
- This role improves equipment efficiency by maintaining and optimizing production machines and processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of all downtime events with appropriate detail.
- Lead or co‑lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Support engineering staff in the development of new processes and/or new products for manufacturing.
- Mentor and develop the skills of hourly Technicians.
- Communicating Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey clear understanding, taking into account the unique needs of different audiences.
- Customer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in an Engineering, technical, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be available to work overtime, as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with PLCs, CAD software (i.e. SolidWorks), and/or other manufacturing software platforms.
