About the role

  • Supply Chain Manager - Aerospace Transparencies Grand Prairie, TX Are you a passionate and driven supply chain professional who is looking to take their career to new heights?

  • In this role you will also be responsible for the planning and scheduling of raw materials, work orders, and finished goods inventory to align with customer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of materials management, supply chain, and inventory strategies to achieve plant objectives, improve customer service, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team responsible for logistics, inventory control, material planning, production scheduling, master scheduling, and supply chain analytics.
  • Drive inventory optimization, purchase order management, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Partner with production leadership, executives, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to execute global material strategies, remove bottlenecks, and achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering or Operations required.
  • Six (6) years of experience in diverse manufacturing environments required.
  • Five (5) or more years as a Supply Chain Manager or related role required.
  • Solid Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and hand-on experience with Lean Tools required.
  • This will include ensuring timely and accurate response to customer orders by providing the required information, schedules, materials and accurate systems to the manufacturing teams.

Nice to have

  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Experience with Supply, Inventory, and Operations Planning to balance supply and demand requirements preferred.
