About the role
- Financial Analyst for Operations is a key member of the finance team.
- This role works directly with Plant Directors and Staff.
Responsibilities
- Compiles and analyzes financial information from Manufacturing Plant teams, and develops integrated manufacturing expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborates with and coordinates all components of the organization to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to federal and state financial reporting regulations and guidelines, and conformity with company fiscal policies and procedures.
- Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal financial reporting systems and procedures for the organization or Manufacturing Plant business entity.
- Building cities.
- In both the Allison Transmission and Allison Off-Highway Drive and Motion Systems business units, our team strives to Improve the Way the World Works.

- Required:
- Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems.
- Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present sophisticated annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- or equivalent work experience
- 5 years experience in a financial analyst, budget analyst or accounting role;
- Experience using SAP in a financial setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work optimally.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
- Knowledge of a range of automated financial systems and applications software.
Skills
- Other duties as assigned.
- Database management skills.
Compensation
- Coordinates, compiles, and analyzes annual financial documents for the organization and its component units, using complex spreadsheet and database applications.
